Green Mansion, aptly named is a mansion in the lap of nature. It has 9 rooms ranging from 2 bed to 6 beds. From here, you can savour the spectacular view of the Gavi lake and the adjoining forests. After registration at Gavi: Go for a relaxing row boat ride, Then proceed to visit the cardamom plantation inhaling the aromatic whiffs of cardamom and then to the curing house, Catch the scenic beauty spot Sabarimala viewpoint to capture the panoramic view of the Sabarimala hills and the pilgrim spot, Return to your room at the Green Mansion or your Swiss Cottage Tent for a sound sleep, Wake up early for a Vehicle safari through the forest for 2 1/2 hours to catch glimpses of wildlife and exotic birds, The morning safari is followed by a delicious breakfast, Take a trek through the paths in the jungle. Camping at the jungle is a real life adventure. KDFC has Jungle camp - stay in a temporarily pitched tent deep inside the forest. As the night falls gather around a bonfire and warm yourself on the chilly night with some songs or chit chats. Nestle in the thick forest listening to the nightlife of the jungle and the chirps of the birds welcoming the dawn. A memory to be treasured! For the most adventurous ones who would love to spend a night in the deep forest can pack their bags for a night stay in portable small tents. Guides and helpers will accompany the guests. Streaming hot and delicious dinner will be prepared at the camp and served to the guest. The programme also offers Boating in the Gavi lake, Long trekking about 3 km, Animal skeleton museum visit, organic cardamom plantation visit, cardamom curing store visit (no vehicle safari is included). Due to the inherent risk and arduous nature of the trek to the camp and stay in an isolated location,it is advisable that guest physically fit and ready for adventure may only undertake the camp.Not suitable for kids.

  The programme provides tented accommodations for 8  persons at a time in four tents nestled inside the forest .The site is located 9 km from Gavi Ecotourism centre at the river point in the banks of Kochupamba and pamba dam view.Stay programme includes trekking, cardamom plantation visit,boating/ bowl boating, camp fire, break fast, lunch and dinner. Kochu pamba is abode of variety of avifauna including terrestrial and water birds and dream place  for bird watchers. Kochu pamba tent camping provides an opportunity to live amongst nature.
