LOG HOUSE
KFDC has developed the unique concept of Log House under proper shaded roofing. It is a safe haven with privacy among the woods living in a room having a cot, side table, chair and even attached bathroom facility to make your stay comfortable.. After registration at Gavi: Go for a relaxing row boat ride, Then proceed to visit the cardamom plantation inhaling the aromatic whiffs of cardamom and then to the curing house, Catch the scenic beauty spot Sabarimala viewpoint to capture the panoramic view of the Sabarimala hills and the pilgrim spot, Return to your room at the Green Mansion or your Swiss Cottage Tent for a sound sleep, Wake up early for a Vehicle safari through the forest for 2 1/2 hours to catch glimpses of wildlife and exotic birds, The morning safari is followed by a delicious breakfast, Take a trek through the paths in the jungle. General Instructions
For the stay program in Gavi & Kochupamba lunch is available only on the 2nd day. - In rainy season disposable rain coats are available for purchase at our eco shop in Gavi and Kochupamba- For the day & stay program, the timing of each program may vary according to the decision of management-Only BSNL network is available in Gavi and no WIFI is available. - Can reach Gavi & Kochu Pamba ecotourism by their own vehicle.- The KFDC entry pass is provided to reach Gavi & Kochupamba ecotourism only through Vallakadavu check post. Those who are wished to come through Angamoozhy check post should take separate pass from Forest department-check in 2 pm & check out 12.30 pm.- Jungle safari will be provided in department bus for the stay program.-All transactions through online payment platforms will be appreciated.- Bring suitable shoes & boots for the trekking. Avoid colourful dress and perfumes during trekking.-Bring warm clothes or sweaters for the protection from the cool climate
Kochupamba ecotourism is situated 9 Km away from Gavi and those who booked for stay and day program in Kochupamba ecotourism will get all the activities in Kochupamba only
